6. Take advantage of free study spots
You can learn from various websites that provide information, tips and tricks about photography, such as from YouTube, or Instagram and Keelesson's blog. If you have more budget, you can also take part in workshops about photography which are usually conducted by professional photographers.
7. Continue testing the settings on the camera
To find out more clearly the function of the buttons on the camera, you can read the instruction manual. Try photographing one subject with different settings so you can see the difference and use it on other subjects. If you forget the settings, you can check on the computer the EXIF data for each photo.
8. Learn the basic rules
It's really necessary for you to first understand the basic rules of photography, for example about composition, or using shutter speed on the camera. Learn as much as possible so you can have more insight.
9. Take photos regularly
Try to take photos regularly and practice what you have learned previously. You can give yourself a challenge every week, or by joining a photography community that invites its members to collect photos with different themes every week. Practice makes perfect right..? ;)
10. Don't be afraid to experiment
If you already know basic knowledge about photography, you can try experimenting with various things that you have never tried before. There will be a possibility that you will get an unexpected photo.
