It's going to be a holiday soon, KEE friends... Is anyone planning to go on holiday with the family? So Mimin has some tips for you so you can enjoy your holiday while also being a photographer.
1. Research holiday locations
You can do research and check the vacation spot you are going to by searching on the internet or asking acquaintances. From there you can find out which photo spots you can use to immortalize your moments with your family.
2. Bring light equipment
Choose equipment and supplies that are practical and light so they are not burdensome to carry around have fun with family.
3. Set aside “me” time with the camera
Usually photography is an activity between us and the camera. Maybe during the holidays, you can divide the time to explore your own camera with time with your family by setting a time limit, for example one hour to take photos alone.
4. Gather with family
You can invite your children or siblings to learn about photography. You can teach them, you can get knowledge, you can get family gatherings too, rightt..?
5. Make memories together, not just photos
Don't just take photos, but create beautiful memories with your family that are immortalized through photos. Because this moment cannot necessarily be repeated.
6. Master your camera
You need to master the settings on your camera. Don't let everyone wait for you to set up the camera first. You can use aperture-priority mode to shoot portraits which give a bokeh effect to the background of the photo.
