KEE friends may have heard that for headshot photos that show the face and head, a focal length of around 85 -135mm is usually used to get a good perspective and make the face more attractive.
Why? If you use a lens that is too wide or too narrow, the face becomes distorted and looks strange. Lenses that are too wide make the nose look flared, while lenses that are too narrow make the face look flat. Come on, take a look at some of the examples below from photographer Stephen Eastwood!
