2. Light
You can make a softbox with fairly cheap materials. Just provide a lamp, plastic trash can, and parchment or tracing paper. The method is easy:
a. Make a hole in the bottom of the plastic trash can, make sure the light can fit into the hole.
b. Attach it with tape
c. Cover the front trash can hole with tracing paper
Your photos look like they were in a studio, the light is soft and you can see the desired details.
