Basically street photography can use all types of lenses. It depends on each condition and what object you want to take. There are several criteria to determine the type of lens you use in photography:
1. Light and compact
It is important to have equipment that is light and easy to carry everywhere. Many moments appear suddenly so you must always be ready.
2. A lens with a large aperture of f/2.8 or larger.
The larger the lens opening (small number), the more light comes in, especially at night when more light is needed. Apart from that, you can play the bokeh effect on the camera which makes photos more interesting.
3. Lens focal length
The focal length of the lens depends on each person. What is generally used is a 35mm lens, 50mm lens, and 18-55mm kit lens. There are also those who like to use a wide lens so that the photo coverage is wider.
4. Lenses with IS or VR features
Lenses equipped with IS and VR features can help when moving so that the image doesn't become blurry.
