Problem: This error indicates an abnormal function on the camera. This usually occurs because the electronic connections on the camera contain oil from the manufacturing process.
Solution: Turn off the camera, remove the lens, clean the connection between the camera and lens with a dry cloth. If the error message still appears, try removing the battery and reinsert it. If it still appears, take the camera to the nearest service center.
2. “fEE” flashes
Problem: Usually appears if you use an old type of lens such as the Nikon 50mm f/1.4D which has an aperture ring and its position is not at the minimum aperture. It's possible that when changing lenses you accidentally turned the ring so an error message appeared.
Solution: Turn the aperture ring to the largest f number (smallest aperture). To avoid accidents, you can use the aperture ring lock.
3. Order a triangle with the letter “F”
Problem: The camera cannot detect the lens.
Solution: You can check again whether the lens is installed correctly. You can try removing it and reconnecting it.
4. Continuous “(-E-)” message
Problem: The memory card cannot be found in the camera
Solution: You can remove the memory card and reinsert it. Or you can use another memory card. But if the error message still appears, it is possible that the memory card holder connection is bent or damaged. If this happens, you need to take it to a service center.
5. Flashing “CHA/CHR” message
Problem: There is an error on the memory card. The reason is that when you import photos from a memory card to a computer, we delete them via the computer instead of formatting them on the camera. Usually if you delete files without formatting it can cause camera problems.
Solution: Format the memory card in the camera, not on the computer.
6. “Information” message
Problem: If an error code appears in the form of the letter "i" in a circle, then the possibility is that the battery is about to run out, needs to be recharged, or the memory card is full, or the subject in the photo is blinking when you take the picture.
Solution: Charge the battery if it's about to run out, move the photo if the memory card is full, and retake the photo if your subject is winking at the photo.
7. “F0” message
Problem: The message appears because the lens is not properly installed on the camera.
Solution: On type G lenses, the error message will continue to appear until you hear a 'click' sound indicating that the lens is installed properly.
On type F lenses, you can see that when you rotate the lens when installing it, the number near the F code will move up until the lens is installed properly and a 'click' sound is heard.
