The Most Influential Photos of All Time (Part 1)

Every day there are thousands of photos produced all over the world, both professional and novice photographers. Of the many photos, Time magazine released the 100 most influential photos of all time, and these are the top 10 photos:

1. The Terror of War by Nick Ut in 1972.

This photo records the moment children fled, including 9 year old Kim Phuc, who was naked, fleeing a Napalm bomb attack during the Vietnam War. This photo was taken by Nick Ut.

2. Starving Child And Vulture by Kevin Carter in 1993.

This photo was taken by Kevin Carter, one of the photographers who immortalized the apartheid era in South Africa. In 1993 Kevin flew to Sudan to photograph the famine conditions that were occurring there. He saw a hungry little child who was whimpering and behind him there was a vulture who was watching the child. A very sad sight.

3. The Burning Monk by Malcolm Browne in 1963.

This photo was taken by Malcolm Browne who immortalized a monk who set himself on fire at a Saigon crossroads on June 11, 1963. This action was a form of protest against the persecution of Buddhists by the Roman Catholic government of South Vietnam.

4. Lunch Atop A Skyscraper, 1932.

This photo shows the most dangerous and funny lunch. 11 people sat casually chatting like sitting in a stall. Even though they sit at an altitude of 840 feet above the city of Manhattan. And uniquely, the photo's photographer is still unknown.

5. Falling Man by Richard Drew in 2001.

The WTC tragedy occurred on September 11, 2001 when the twin towers were hit by two jet planes, and the building immediately collapsed. Richard Drew managed to grab another moment. He can photograph moments of people falling from a height.
