Cara Menggunakan Dutch Angle-KEE INDONESIA

How to Use Dutch Angle

Dutch angles can be used in various conditions for different purposes. Dutch angle is more of a technique than a composition rule. It's very easy, you just tilt your camera. But the result can be good or bad ;)

When making a Dutch angle, it has to look like it was intentional, if it's too subtle, it will be mistaken for an accidental tilt. Use Dutch angle with a certain intention so that it doesn't look like a mistake. With Dutch angle you can give the impression of fear, drunkenness, upheaval, or an unpleasant situation.

You can also combine Dutch angles with various compositions, for example leading lines. With lines or circles that lead the eye to the main subject, this can be combined with a Dutch angle to produce more interesting photos. Don't be afraid if your horizon line isn't straight, as long as your composition supports the slope, it won't look like a mistake.

What are the benefits?

1. Insert more objects into the frame

If you are in a tight space, you can try this method. Try tilting it at 45 to 90 degrees so that all of your subjects can fit into the frame. Usually photographers will zoom out their lens, or move back. Try this method, the results could be more interesting.

2. Provide alternative perspectives

When photographing ordinary subjects or something that many other people photograph, you can try this method. Making something ordinary extraordinary is definitely a challenge. The results will definitely be remembered by people more than photos with normal angles.
