In the world of photography light is the most important element because if there is no light, it's dark, you can't see anything. Now you already know that there are 3 points of lighting in photography. What are they?
1. Key light
Key light is usually also known as the main light source. If you are indoors, usually this light is light that replaces sunlight. You can place the key light on one side that you want to illuminate according to your needs and the concept you want.
2. Fill light
Fill light is the light used to complement the key light. By using the correct fill light, it can make your subject more visible and this fill light can also soften the light from the key light, KEE friends. Usually this fill light is placed in the opposite direction from the main light/key light. As in the photo below. The main light is behind the subject and a fill light is added to the front of the subject so that facial details are still visible.
3. Back light
The back light is usually behind the subject, of course. Its purpose is to complement the key light and create bright lines around the subject. Apart from that, using a back light can give a 3-dimensional impression to your subject.
